Yes, ASPN Pharmacies does provide Prior Authorizations (PA) Support by initiating them through CoverMyMeds. The form includes pre-filled patient and medication details as well as the prescriber key code.

Once a prescription is received, ASPN Pharmacies initiates outreach to the patient via a welcome text message that outlines next steps. If confirmation is needed, providers may check the prescription status on the Prescriber Portal or contact ASPN Pharmacies directly.

No, only select medications are available through our self-pay (Direct-to-Patient) program. Check medication specific pages on AstraZeneca Direct to confirm self-pay availability.

No. The self-pay pricing option is available exclusively through AstraZeneca’s home-delivery self-pay program administered by ASPN Pharmacies.

Yes. Medications are shipped with clear, easy-to-follow instructions to support proper use.

Yes. A valid prescription from a licensed health care provider is required.

There are disposal directions included on the packing slip provided by the dispensing pharmacy.

Patients enrolled in the self-pay program will receive medication via home delivery only.

Providers should use the Prescriber Portal to verify the prescription was successfully submitted to ASPN Pharmacies. If more than 24 hours have passed since submission, the patient or provider may contact ASPN Pharmacies for assistance.

ASPN Pharmacies will:

  • Initiate patient outreach
  • Create a patient profile
  • Verify coverage and eligibility
  • Provide Prior Authorization & Appeal Support (if required)
  • Assess eligibility for AstraZeneca support programs
  • Present available cost options, including self-pay when applicable
  • Coordinate delivery and payment

If the patient qualifies, ASPN Pharmacies will coordinate with Medvantx to ship the medication directly to the patient’s home.
